Pictures taken at the Area Contest on 07th October 2007. The area contest has 2 competitions. One is for table topics where each participant gives a speech on a topic with no previous preparation. Each speaker takes it in turn to walk into the room and give a speech on the same topic without any former knowledge of that topic. It requires real thinking on the feet!
The second competition is for humourous speaking, where each participant prepares a humourous speech in advance to entertain the speakers.
